All of the physicians and other practicioners at Advocare Society Hill Pediatrics believe strongly in the value of preventative medicine. Providing immunity to life threatening illnesses is one of the ways we provide this protection for our patients. We follow recommendations published by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention with regard to the vaccine schedule.
We will require that all of our patients have completed the primary series of the following vaccines by the time they are 2 years old: aDPT, Prevnar, HIB, Polio, MMR, Varicella.
The boosters of aDPT, Polio, MMR, and Varicella must be completed between the ages of 4 and 6 years.
